Frequently Asked Questions
What does a strut bearing do?
It sits at the top of the strut assembly, allowing the strut to rotate freely with the steering while supporting the vehicle's weight. A worn bearing causes stiffness, noises, and uneven tire wear, so it should be replaced with the strut.
Is this bearing compatible with the listed vehicles?
The part matches the OE cross-reference numbers (M259.14, 9805572080, SU001A6620) and the compatible brands and applications (Volkswagen, BMW, Mercedes, Audi) shown. Confirm against your vehicle's original part number before ordering.
Should I replace the bearing together with the strut mount?
It is strongly recommended. Replacing both at the same time saves labor and ensures smooth steering and even wear. Huami offers matched mount-and-bearing sets for the covers of vehicles listed.
